With our preventive maintenance program, we will evaluate the current performance of your HVAC system and compare this with the original design conditions of your system. Using our combustion analyzer to measure your system's performance, we will then make recommendations, based upon current operating needs and conditions, that will improve the operating efficiency of your system.

We check the following conditions of your system:

  • air system discharge quantities and static pressures
  • heating and cooling valves sequencing properly
  • actual coil tonnages
  • proper balance and delivery of the right airflow to every area — and then make recommendations to update your control settings
  • inspect all electronic and pneumatic controls for proper calibration
  • Motor failures are usually caused by motor winding insulation breakdown. Regular testing of this insulation identifies problems before a failure occurs, allowing for budgeted and scheduled repair, not unexpected and unscheduled repair or equipment replacement.

Preventive Maintenance provides you with the service you need, the knowledge that your equipment is operating properly, the ability to budget for equipment upgrades and replacement, and peace of mind.

Call or e-mail us today for more information about which preventive maintenance program is right for your business.

We have financing options available. Please contact our office for more information.

SUMMARY
Refrigerant R-410A is the leading replacement for refrigerant R-22 in the coming years.

Between now and 2010, all air-conditioning manufacturers must develop new products that operate with refrigerants other than R-22.

Equipment operating with Refrigerant R-410A must be designed specifically to handle the higher operating pressure and to take advantage of its high-efficiency characteristics.

Refrigerant R-410A is safe, non-toxic, non-flammable and environmentally responsible. It does not deplete stratospheric ozone, and has been shown to be one of the lowest overall impacts on global warming of all viable R-22 replacement refrigerants.

In 2004, the Clean Air Act called for a 25 percent reduction in the supply of HCFCs. Like any other item, as supply is reduced, the costs for that item increase. In the year 2010, no new equipment may be manufactured that use R-22 refrigerant, which suggests that HCFC refrigerant is obsolete. Additionally, as HCFCs are further reduced, R-22 refrigerant may increase in cost as did R-12.

Two independently published reports state that with production caps for 2004 and again in 2010, there will not be enough R-22 to meet service demands by the year 2015.
